In the heart of the great Miao mountains

This year, the charity, Couleurs de Chine, with whom I previously collaborated creating our colouring book, is celebrating it’s 20th birthday.

To mark the occasion they organised a photography exhibition and invited me to participate by exhibiting some of the original drawings I did for the colouring book.
I felt very honoured to be apart of this beautiful and meaningful event.

Half of the funds raised went back into the charity. You can find the last available pieces on my e-shop.

During the exhibition I held a couple of workshops for kids, creating pieces inspired by Miao patterns. It was a really lovely experience.

New products have been created to complete this collection, Couleurs de Chine, so it now includes the colouring book, the large colouring poster, lai see envelopes, original watercolour paintings as well as art prints of the painting.

All are available on my website here ; the money from 1 poster sold finances a young girl’s schooling for a month as does 2 packets of lai see envelops.

Thank you again to Couleurs de Chine and it’s amazing staff members for making this event possible. I’m very grateful for the opportunity to exhibit my work and for the trust in me you have demonstrated over these past months.
